Absolute Monarchy is when there is only one ruler, with all absolute power. Many of the monarchies believed to their absolutism was of Divine Right, which means their power came from God. All absolute monarchies go directly the idea of Representative Government because people have no say in who their ruler is. Many people in Europe disagreed within & wanted a change in the government.
Louis XIV, king of France was a very respected and loved ruler. He protected religious freedom and has many other accomplishments. He is considered one of France's Best leaders. Peter the Great from Russia was one of Russia's Greatest reformers. He created greatly inforced education and learning to the children in younger generations. He balanced out social classes to be more equal and wealth and statues too.
Both Russia & France were great but in England it sort of sucked. King John tried to make his people happy by signing the Magna Carta ensuring they had rights but it didn't help that much. To keep the people happy King John formed a Parliament which is a panel of people chosen by the people to pass laws & propositions. The English Bill of Rights ( same as American Bill of Rights) was also passed. This caused the parliament to gain power & during the Glorious Revolution the King was overthrown.
